Saturn, la empresa del grupo MediaSaturn Holding (a la que pertenece también Media Markt) ha abierto hoy sus puertas en Massalfassar, al lado de Valencia.
Después de una campaña publicitaria masiva, la tienda inicia el nogocio con unos precios aparentemente inferiores a los de adquisición (lo cual es ilegal, pero tiene mucho gancho). Por ejemplo venden una impresora laser de color por 199 € cuando en el Corte Ingles la venden por 499.
El eslogan de Media Markt "Yo no soy tonto !" no está carente de hipocresía. La política de precios de Media Markt es sencilla pero efectiva:
- Inaguración: precios por debajo del coste.
- Temporada: precios generalmente altos
- Cada mes o 2 meses: promociones con algún artículo barato.
La preparación técnica de los empleados y su servcio deja mucho que desear, lo contrario de lo que ocurre en la Fnac, sin ir más lejos (o sin cojer el coche). El servicio post venta es poco profesional. Como ejemplo vease lo que pasó cuando unos chicos quisieron hacer valer el "si lo encuentra más barato le devolvemos la diferencia" hace un tiempo con el reproductor Divx Dalton. La web de MediaMarkt finalmente cambió la redacción de ese punto de su web añadiendo "en su provincia" (de esta forma se evitaba hacerse la competencia a si misma).
En resúmen, no seais tontos y aprovechad sus ofertas de apertura, pero cuidado con todo lo demás.
